Learn More
After reading my webpage, please feel free to contact me for more information or to schedule an intake appointment. I can be reached at (406) 459-2931. When you call, you may reach administrative staff or a confidential voicemail. Please be prepared to leave a message with your name, phone number, and best times to contact you. It is not necessary to leave your concerns or treatment needs in your message. I am generally able to return phone calls within 48 business hours or less, except in unusual circumstances.
Getting Started
After connecting via phone, I will provide you with more detailed information regarding my services/specialties, learn about your presenting concerns, and we can together determine whether I might be the correct fit for your treatment goals. If you decide to begin working with me, we can schedule an initial intake session at your convenience. Otherwise, I will provide you with information about appropriate referrals and resources that may better fit your needs or schedule.
Initial Assessment
After scheduling an appointment, you will receive a link to my secure client portal – where you can complete initial intake paperwork so as not to interfere with your time in-office. Once you arrive at my practice, your initial session will typically be scheduled for one hour. I will spend the majority of the session getting to know you/your child and asking questions in order to best understand your presenting issues, concerns, strengths/interests, and treatment goals. These questions will help me to clarify how I can best serve you as a clinician, support our development of your treatment plan, and ensure that future sessions can be as enjoyable and efficient as possible. This session is also a wonderful chance for you to address any questions you might have about the therapeutic process in general or what to expect going forward.
Continued Therapy
After the initial assessment, we can schedule ongoing therapy sessions to best accommodate your needs and schedule. Therapy is most commonly scheduled – initially – on a once-weekly basis, though alternative schedules are available depending on your needs and the limits of your insurance provider. My goal is to help clients/families develop evidence-based tools and techniques to “become their own experts” so that they can efficiently graduate from services and move forward in life.
